CHILDREN
MBC Children comes alongside and supplements the role of parents to nurture their kids' faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how His word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. Through engaging teaching and supportive environments, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God. Our church wants to lead every child draw closer to Jesus and to love Him.
DOUBLE-EDGE
Double-Edge is our middle & high-school ministry. The aim of DE is to glorify God by reaching out to students with the life-penetrating and life-changing Word of God coming alongside the families of MBC in shepherding their children. Through instruction in the Bible and personal discipleship, we teach them to know Jesus Christ as their Savior, to mature in their faith in Him, serve others, and develop godly relationships. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story He's writing with their lives. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives.
Double-Edge meets as a group for Bible study on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month.
ADULTS
Adult Ministry assumes many forms at MBC in two languages. We have plenty of engaging ministries, events and gatherings designed to build the faith and community of our adults as well. Young or old, single or married, for men or women—we've got a place for you!
We offer an English worship service (9:00am) and a Spanish worship service (11:00am). Additionally, there is a weekly class for adults during the Sunday morning Bible study hour (11:00am). Lessons are focused upon studies on a book of the Bible, Christian living, theology, biblical counseling, missions, etc. Bilingual attendees may alternate between this class and the Spanish service that appeal to their current interests or needs. We have small group ministries in English and Spanish for men and women that encourage fellowship with mutual prayer, and focused upon biblical instruction.
GLOBAL OUTREACH
Our desire is to take part in the Lord's work to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ by executing a biblical strategy for fulfilling the Great Commision as given by the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Therefore, the mission of the church is to proclaim the excellencies of the Triune God as revealed through Christ, seeking to establish and strengthen local churches. MBC is committed to a focus upon church planting, church strengthening and development of indigenous church leadership who will continue the work of the Great Commission to other regions.
